The Phuel Compact Safety Head is a large-bore, hydraulically-controlled wireline intervention valve for direct installation above the Xmas Tree. It meets NORSOK certification, and its compact design allows deployment through the intervention hatch, avoiding deferred production and heavy lifting. Its unique cutting mechanism cleanly severs wireline cables without damaging the sealing function. A floating valve provides a well-pressure barrier, initially energized by the mechanism and further by differential pressure. A lower volume piston cycle reduces accumulator burden, complying with safety regulations.
